Theme Thursday - Bright
This week's theme had me stumped at first. I was thinking more along the lines of bright colors or the bright sun and trying to figure out what I had taken pictures of recently that were really bright. Lo-and-behold, Ms 17 yo pops her head around the corner and says, "sparklers", and she's right. Once we returned home from vacation we lit some sparklers and I played with my new camera to try a few things out. Here are the "bright" results. Hope it's okay that I picked 8 of them :)

ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone. It was fun to do, too. I used the "Bulb" setting on my new camera, set the ISO to 3200 and the f stop to 20. As you can see the people are blurry and hard to see, so if you wanted clearer, brighter people, I read that you can use a flash with this, too. I just picked these settings and thought I'd see what happened since this was the first time trying it.
ReplyDeleteThose are some cool pictures. I've never played with a sparkler before but now I want to! I like to play with the camera settings for fast rides to make them look even faster.
