I tossed around some ideas of taking pictures of all my girls and since I have 5 of them I figured I'd have enough material to work with. However, the morning got away from me and then 2 of the girls left...well anyhow, I began working on editing some photos from graduation the other night and came across this series of photos of two of my daughters.
Ms 17 yo (the blonde) graduated from high school and Ms 14 yo from eighth grade. I did some photo shoots of some of the grads and had a few extra minutes so I dragged them over to take some together.
To say these two don't always get along is an understatement, but they sure had fun doing this and I'm glad I'll have these photos to treasure this special day.
So, without further ado...two of "My Girls"
Go over to Clan Donaldson to join in the fun!
God Bless!
Five girls?! I'm envious. I never had a sister. Well, I never had a sister until I got married, then I got my SIL who is fantastic and almost makes up for the fact that I never got to have moments like the ones you photographed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girls.
I don't have a sister either, so having all these girls and watching them interact has been fun (and interesting and stressful and..)
DeleteSeriously, you are so lucky. They are just beautiful and so blessed to have each other. Can't imagine my life in about 8 years when I will have two teen girls, hope they are as wonderful as yours.
ReplyDeleteWe figured our peek was when the oldest four girls were all teens. Thankfully it only lasted for a few months :) Really, though, I do enjoy all of this female company!
DeleteI bet they will appreciate these photos, especially in a few years!
ReplyDeleteFortunately they took seeing them on my blog in stride :)
Delete5 girls is a blessing and look how fast they grow up!
ReplyDeletemy fav are the goofy ones...laughing and playing!
They are a blessing and I so enjoyed capturing them interact like that!
DeleteThat must have been a wonderful photo session!! (My next-closest-in-age sister and I had that "don't always get along is an understatement" thing going as kids, too, but now we do just fine. There is hope!) :-)
ReplyDeleteNever having had a sister I don't know what it is like to build that relationship but I truly hope that they all can remain close knit as they age!
DeleteLooks like a super fun photo session...your girls will always treasure those photos!
ReplyDeleteWe all did have a good time :)
DeleteWhat fun sister pictures! My sister and I are 3 years apart and are best friends :) Sisters are pretty special!
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me glad to hear when sisters can say they are best friends :) I always pray that my children will remain friends as they get older.
Delete5 girls! I should be so blessed. maybe we will see each other at the Shrine.
