Advent Daybook - Day 14

Reflection:

Take care to have the crib of your heart warmed by a cozy fire.  Be grateful to God for the love He has shown us in becoming man; behave with grateful respect towards your parents and relatives.  Jesus, how can I return Your love?  How can I show my gratitude to You?

Bible Verse:

Bless those who persecute you.

Thoughts from Mass:

I was struck last night while we were praying the Litany of the Mater Dolorosa before Mass how Our Blessed Mother must be grieving, too.

Advent Activities:

Today we cashed in on our gift from St. Nicholas: we all went to see "The Hobbit".  I admit to never having read the book, so I went in with very little knowledge.  Add to that the fact that I haven't memorized every line from all three LOTR movies like my children have.  I asked a lot of questions afterwards, but I must say I did enjoy the movie.

God Bless!
