Advent Daybook - Day 15

Reflection:

Lead the ox to the crib.  Obey cheerfully without making excuses and without asking "why".  I will obey for love of You, Jesus.

Bible Verse:

Rejoice with those who rejoice.  (How appropriate for today)

Thoughts from Mass:

Joy - something that should be in our heart even amidst the sorrow of life;  A deep abiding joy that Jesus has saved us.

The Communion Antiphon also seemed appropriate for today:  "Say to the faint of heart:  Be strong and do not fear.  Behold our God will come, and he will save us."

I also have to put this video in today because of it being Gaudete Sunday and I absolutely LOVE this song:

Advent Activities:

Today was our day to decorate our tree.  We usually do this on the weekend right before Christmas but because that is just one day before Christmas Eve, we decided to do it today.  Mr 12 yo got to go to the Bears vs Packers football game today (jealous mommy!!) so we're waiting till he gets back in order to put the tree together and decorate it.

Joy to you all today!

God Bless!
