Then it dawned on me. My son; my youngest son; my baby. He has grown in many ways recently. Here are a few shots to prove it.
He recently had a birthday, so he's grown in height, in age and hopefully in wisdom :)
Along with his age and height, his appetite has grown.
And, while not directly part of him, as of this past birthday, his LEGO collection has grown, which means, of course, that the likely hood of stepping on a Lego in our house has now grown, too.

God Bless!
My post today was about my baby growing, too! Great minds think alike.
ReplyDeleteMy boys are all in their 20's now--it's like I blinked and my nest emptied out!
Do you homeschool all of your kids? We only did with our youngest, from 3rd to 8th grade (all of our other boys attended the local Catholic school all the way through). I give you so much credit if you're doing it with multiple kids at multiple grade levels.
oh my. I have 3 boys and I'm dreading when they become teenagers. They are going to eat me out of house and home! We've got a huge 50 gallon bin of legos my husband has refused to bring out but I know the day of stepping on legos will come.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very happy birthday boy!
Happy Birthday to him! Boys and Legos, what a wonderful world it is! Not for the feet, maybe...
ReplyDeleteOh the Legos. The Legos. I don't know why parents keep buying them. They clearly mate and multiply on their own.
ReplyDeleteLegos. How we parents keep torturing ourselves over and over and over. Not only do they hurt like the dickens when stepped upon, no matter how thorough you are picking up there are ALWAYS more Legos on the floor! Always! Never will every single last Lego be picked up.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me cry. lol
So sweet! My post was about a growing son too. Oh, and the legos! I couldn't help but laugh. :-)
